Project Description

Healthcare is one of the major industries in Switzerland. The medical equipment and supplies market is estimated to be over USD 4 billion in 2009. Per capita spending is among the highest in the world at over USD 500.-. The Centre Suisse d’Electronique et de Microtechnique (CSEM) has long been active in the field of health and wellness and the development of ultra low power solutions for medical Body Area Networks (BAN). It is also active in the IEEE, ETSI and other standardization bodies in this domain. We are pleased to have the opportunity to bring ISMICT 2011 (www.ismict2011.org) to Switzerland.
